Devan has been working for Williamstown Veterinary Services since 2017. She is passionate about nutrition, cytology and client communication. She has been riding horses since she was 6 and was always surrounded by an abundance of animals. Her family uses Williamstown Veterinary Services to care for their dairy cows and family pets and Devan remembers helping Dr. MacNaughton with Herd Health at a young age. She did her high school co-op with Dr. Brian MacNaughton and Dr. Allyson Simpson, and fell in love with the veterinary environment! Devan graduated from St. Lawrence College in 2015, earning a diploma in the Veterinary Technologist program. Later that year she graduated from the Veterinary Technician National Exam, thus becoming a Registered Veterinary Technologist. Not sure if technician life was for her, she furthered her learnings and became a Certified Equine Massage Therapist while working at her riding stable. She started her own on-the-side business, Lancaster Equine Massage and still continues to do this on weekends. Along with riding, Devan also likes to stay active by being outdoors, playing as much volleyball as possible and playing soccer in the summer. She has many 4-legged kids, including 2 horses, Jester and Prim; 2 cats, Clarence and Cricket; and 2 dogs, Fae and Freckles.
