Dr. Sameh Girgis joined Williamstown Veterinary Services as a full-time veterinarian in March 2025. Originally from Egypt, he earned his veterinary degree from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Cairo University in 2003. In 2014, he moved to Canada and successfully completed the certification process through the Order of Veterinary Medicine, becoming fully licensed to practice in Canada in 2022.

Dr. Girgis has a strong interest in internal medicine and diagnostic imaging, and he is passionate about providing high-quality medical care to animals while supporting pet owners in creating long, healthy, and happy lives for their companions. His commitment to animal welfare and deep compassion for both pets and their owners are central to his approach to veterinary care.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Girgis enjoys traveling and exploring new cultures and countries, always seeking to broaden his perspective and experiences.
